I'm worried about them compromising. There is talk of keeping the border open in exchange for access to the common market.
If we accept this, Brexit was all for nothing. The defining characteristic of a nation is border control. Having no border is just a way to break down the national identity until most people feel European and few feel British. If that happens we'll just be reabsorbed into the E.U. within a few decades. The remainers are just trying to play the long game.
It's not enough to just get out. We have to encourage other countries to do the same and try to bring the whole project down. So long as the E.U. exists it will never stop trying to destroy the sovereignty of European nations.
