    Back in 1971, a school teacher brought his Arlo Guthrie album to school to play for the class. I guess we were studying Woody Guthrie music or something. I could never figure it out.

    How could you not figure this out.  It is Woody-flavored throughout.  It tells an absurd tale, laced with sign-of-the-times flavor.

    There really IS nothing to figure out.

    Yet I am still puzzled. However, the Woody Guthrie movie seemed to make some sense to me.

    While I like Arlo as a person and a character and a musician, that style never really grabbed me.  I don't care for nonsense to that degree.
