It's fun to pretend that I know what I am talking about. I always make sure I include that I am making this stuff up because I am. I don't think I have been there, except by accident a few times for a few seconds.
Sorry, Rand, here is the skinny on my comment. I thought you knew this one. I could not change avatars until JA just did some magic and repaired the problem.
When I could not, I would click on my settings like usual, but instead of getting to the next page that allowed me to edit my photo, it would go to a page that advertised Adult Mug by issuing me a warning that what was about to be seen could never be unseen.
I got the opening page to Answer Mug.

Wait, Sharonna, let me get this straight: all I have to do is masquerade as a full/fledged perv, and you'll meet me in the Adult Section? I wish I had known long ago how easy (you are) it is!

The same note I added below applies to you. Please email me a detailed description- the device you're on, the browser you're using, what pages it happens on, what the URL of the page you wind up on is, if it's all links or just some, etc. Also, when did this begin?
Only one other person reported this issue and that was just yesterday, so I wasn't aware it was widespread. I was actually away for surgery when these issues began and haven't made changes to the site for about 10 days- up until yesterday when I was troubleshooting things.
Guys, please be sure you're actually reporting these things to me or I can't work on them. In this case, I need more data to go on. I'm not seeing any errors on my end and I'm personally not experiencing the same issue. I downloaded the browser that the other member who reported this uses and tried to get it to log me out and it didn't. Right now, I'm kind of looking for a needle in a haystack. I don't know what exact links are causing it- every single link in notifications is coded differently. I can't tell if it's a bad link structure, browser-related, a server issue, a DNS issue, etc... I've got a whole lot of nothing to go on because I can't recreate it and all I know is that sometimes people are being logged out.
Please- those of you who are having an issue- either email me or use the feedback tab to give me very specific accounts of what you are doing and what is happening. Every possible detail is helpful- screenshots of the pages, copies of the links, the browser you use, the operating system you're on, even your IP address if you have it handy. I need to find the commonality between incidents or have something to work with on this one. The more details you can provide me with, the better I'll be able to research and identify the pattern and get it squared away.
