No. He will use Air Force One to fly his wife to New York for dinner.
Or use tax dollars to take 25 kids on vacation to Europe at taxpayers expense.
Or go on seven to eight vacations per year.

Which 25 kids? Poor kids from orphanages or those of friends and relatives to whom a trip to Europe is "ho hum how boring. Been there done that what's next?" Melania will be living in New York until Barron's school year ends which I presume will be in June. Therefore PET will have no need to fly her there. He may wish to fly her to Washington, D.C. to act as hostess for visiting dignitaries from time to time, however until she moves. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday.

    Meh, whatever.

My reading of history is criticism of alleged Presidential excesses in vacations, golfing, use of Air Force One, etc. is almost entirely motivated by ideology, not any set of consistent principles about what constitutes an appropriate amount of taxpayer resources expended on the President's behalf.

I don't see that changing anytime soon.

  • The current POTUS has set quite the record with his use of Air Force One and vacations:

Let's hope PET doesn't follow in his footsteps on this one.
