Do you all think that Trump will do what he wants to do and even the Republican Party will turn their heads?

    No, other members of the GOP won't "turn their heads." They will use Trump's wackiness to extract concessions from him in exchange for doing what they want to do.

    For example, I can imagine Paul Ryan giving Trump something he wants (changes in trade treaties?) in exchange for Trump approving Ryan's plan to convert Medicare to a voucher system.

    He'll try, but doubtful if it will be plain sailing. As OldSchoolTheSKOSlives suggests, the old hands will extract their price for such cooperation as they may decide to grant.
