I think that virtually every foreign policy decision he makes will have an effect on his multinational businesses, and as you point out many of his domestic decisions will affect his businesses as well. Yes, it bothers me, and everyone should have realized this before they voted for him.

Between thee and me Dr.J I think those who voted for him were NOT thinking period.  When the brain is on hiatus realization is unavailable to it. He still tweets/rants/whines. He says the election he "won" was fraudulent. He is choosing people to serve in the government who were living in the swamp he says he will drain and/or are members of the ALT RIGHT WHITE racist groups. He appoints someone who doesn't believe in global warming to his cabinet. He appoints a billionaire dame to head the department of education who LOVES vouchers and whose goal it is to destroy pubic education. He chose the former head of Breitbart(the refuge for racists) as his chief of staff or something equally  powerful. Junk in, junk out. Right? Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday.

Trump is transferring all his interest in his companies to his children. He will have no legal control over the companies.
No different than all politicians who have investments in other companies.

No different than if Hillary had won. She has controlling interest in the Clinton Foundation that gets donations from foreign governments and US corporations.
