Some people SEEM very sincere about their beliefs. You take them at their word. Then they flip on ya and go in the opposite direction. Why?

Folks who keep flipping can't be trusted. How do you depend on them if they are constantly reversing themselves? One day it's one thing and the next day it's the exact opposite. Okay. I know. Sometimes you change your mind. But aren't there some things that should never change? Like core values/beliefs?  The "never Trump" and the "anti-Trump" folks who have since rolled over dishonor/devalue/demean their prior positions. Were they not serious then or are they just afraid now? Is it easier and safer to just capitulate to power or should you stay true to you? What would YOU do? Why?

I'm sort of like that. Probably because I'm an apathetic people pleaser of sorts. I just want to fit in an not draw attention to myself I guess.

So you don't like to make waves? You go with flow because you are not a disrupter? I can understand that Patch. If you are a disrupter you are always a target for those  who will get offended at your nerve. If you just go with the flow people won't take offense. It's safer that way and there is nothing wrong with staying safe. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

Pragmatism hurts. Show me a pragmatist that wasn't a sellout. This post was edited by O-uknow at November 30, 2016 5:48 AM MST
