I remember one time my mother ended up in the hospital I took a knife to my arm an sliced it up because I was so distraught over it. That was probably the worst irrational incident of mine. I was drinking, too, so it didn't help..
Now I just have embarrassing scars.

Oh Patch. :(  My gosh you know you could have killed yourself. You dodged a bullet. Alcohol never helps anything when  you're really upset. It can often make things a whole lot worse. Well ((hugs)) for being here and not dead or maimed for life. Maybe the scars are a safe reminder of what never to do again. Your mom was okay? Thank you for your reply m'dear. I'm glad you're here! :)

She's doing better. I won't do it again, as it may make her feel bad if she found out about it. I just wasn't thinking clearly at that moment and didn't think the knife was that sharp. Oops..

I'm glad she's doing better. Are you her caregiver Patch? Does she need care or is she able to get better on her own?  Don't mean to be nosy. Just ignore the questions if I am! :)

  • No, well..................just when I'm not cooked enough. Doesn't happen often, but I'm not fond of hard-ass corn kernels. I can pretty irate when it does happen, though. Grrrr!

Apologies to thee JimmyC . I don't understand your answer. When you're not cooked enough? Are you speaking as an ear of corn or a human being who is "cooked" meaning drunk? As far as "hard-a**" corn kernels I know people who grate corn raw and put it in salads. Of course they are eating the corn. They aren't representing the corn. If you could clarify what you mean it would be very helpful. Complicating this issue is that I am a Foodie. I love to cook. I am not used to talking to food. I'm used to eating it.  Never talked to an ear of corn that I can recall. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to thee JCCBYDC! :)

  • Well, you have just officially talked to an ear of corn. Congrats! Sorry, uh..................didn't mean to upset or confuse you. No, corn has to be cooked, man! Properly!  You're welcome, and thank YOU. Don't know what those letters on the end of your message mean, but anyway, I'll take 'em! Same back to you.................I think????
