Back in the 1980s I competed in a 14 km fun run. Mrs Didge was also running and my youngest son, who was about 9 at the time, was running with her. When I finished I ran back to join them and run in again but when I found Mrs D she said "Neil dropped back. Can you go back and run with him?" So off I went.
Somehow I missed him in the crowd -- it was a popular race -- and went pretty much to the tail of the field before turning to run back again. One spectator who saw me turn back yelled, "You'll keep doing this till you get it right."
I guess that's the answer to your question. You'll have to keep doing it till you get it right. :)
How many times do I have to : look in my fridge tonight and see I only have a jar of olives and a bottle of hot sauce before I finally order in takeout ...Maybe I'll just have wine for dinner ;p
