Do you participate and pull your own weight or do you just sit back and let others do it for you? Do pay your way or ride coattails? Why?

Really interesting question... I  think i am both??? I sometimes like to stand back and let others run the show... i will sometimes try to stay in the background.. but, but, something within me refuses to sit back...so i am often participating and getting in there.. i think it does depend on the situation.. for instance.. friday, I had a training session.. I did say a thing or two and contributed, but I tend to find that free for all atmosphere not my favourite
