Okay. So I cannot delete notifications after I have read/replied to them. But they can just disappear without my permission. Why?

Is there an automatic reset every Saturday night?  I've lost tons of notifications and there is no way to get them back I guess. If that isn't a glitch it isn't a very helpful, useful or thoughtful programming design. Folks are left hanging and so am I. What possible logical purpose is there for that?

    It's happening to me too.  Some notifications pop back up even after I've already gone to them, others lead me to dead ends when I click on them, still others won't delete just like you said.
