Any of you have experience with Eminent Domain? Did anyone ever get paid fairly what the property was worth or did they all get stiffed?

They generally get more than market value.  As the expressway system made its way across America people prayed that their land would be "taken."   I've known people who were paid way over FMV when the state decided to enlarge university campuses or build parks or public schools.
