It's worse than that imo.. it's downright disloyal and I am very sceptical o fhis motives... I think it's a decision he has made for personal profit/gain or as some kind of vendetta... seriously, I dont think that man has an honest intention in his body.
His concern is the cost which makes a lot of sense, it's in the billions about time someone cares about what is spent. I notice you didn't question the millions Obama spent on vacations and a pension for his Mother in Law or is that ok?
Everything a president does has negative consequences for someone. That is the burden of power.
There is no reason to think that the loss of one order will endanger their jobs.
Even if it did, so what? You can't just look at the negative consequences of an action. You have to look at the positive consequences of it. Can that 4 billion dollars be spent in a manner that creates 2000 jobs? Can it be spent in a way that adds more real value to the economy than an overpriced plane? Of course it can.
People talk about creating jobs, but they should really talk about creating value. Is paying every unemployed person to dig holes and fill them in again a good use of public money? No, because it adds no value. Anyone can create a job. Creating value isn't easy.
When people aren't willing to take an axe to useless things, this happens...
