I don't know if it is equally helpful for other kinds of cancer. I know what being bald is like. The most surprising thing about baldness was how very cold my head was all the time. Even in summer. Very cold. Hair helps keep your body warm. This is such a good thing for breast cancer patients. I'm so happy for those who will benefit from it. Being bald isn't so bad. The hair grows back. But I'd druther have not lost it. You don't get to choose your d'ruthers when you get cancer but maybe one day folks will have lots of choices. Here's to that day! :)
