  • Any association between Trump and intelligence is to be welcomed.  If it's intelligent intelligence.

If not, then he'll find himself a very short term president.

We talked about this before. You are conflating trusting intelligence (objective fact about what is happening) with trusting the counsel of high level establishment figures (subjective, possibly incompetent, possibly propaganda of interests not loyal the U.S.).

You can look at U.S. foreign policy of the last 15 years two ways. You can either conclude that the establishment are completely retarded and screwed everything up, or can say that they are deliberately working against the interests of the west. I believe the latter and I bet Trump does too. Either way the establishment can't be trusted.

You are just criticizing normal behavior. Of course he only trusts his own people. Only a fool does otherwise. When he is done cleaning house and putting people into key positions, those agencies will hopefully serve the U.S..

@TrumpianDunningKruger -- Re: "You are conflating trusting intelligence (objective fact about what is happening)"

Really, Mr. "You're Stupid because you trust objective facts but lack intuition?"

You may be too infected with Dunning-Kruger to see your own F***ING HYPOCRISY, but you're not fooling the rest of us.

I never said. You can't see reality because you THINK things are objective fact based on your misplaced faith in the establishment that lies to you constantly.

    Hello again, T:

Our intelligence services employ over 50,000 people..  That you think they're DISLOYAL is troubling...  Even MORE troubling, is that Trump believes it too..

A child like world view...There is good and bad in everything. You constantly are unable to separate the individual from the group. You constantly operate on identity politics. Just because you served in intelligence, and you consider yourself good, then intelligence agencies must collectively be good. It's so irrational.

It only takes a few people in key positions to completely subvert a large institution. This is especially true of an intelligence agency because information is heavily compartmentalized and hierarchically classified.

    Hello again, T:

I WOULD call you names for your world view, but my momma TAUGHT me good manners..  I guess you just can't help yourself.  It MUST be a gene..  Watch carefully how I DESTROY your argument WITHOUT insulting you..  It's a SKILL I posses that you clearly DON'T..

I don't consider them good..  I consider them competent..

For example, I BELIEVE that if they SEE missiles in Cuba, and they happen to LIKE missiles in Cuba, they'll STILL report that they SEE missiles in Cuba..  That you think they'd CHANGE the intelligence to match their POLITICS, just isn't something that happens in our intelligence services..

I understand you'll NEVER believe that, and I'm ok with it.

  • I can't stop laughing.  Have you ANY experience with how government works?  My guess is a resounding 'NO', as your answer is so full of wishful thinking and airy-fairy nonsense it belongs in a pantomime.

Sooner or later a lot of people, many I suspect with views similar to yours are hopefully going to realise that the world is the way it is, not the way you want it to be.  Then, maybe, you can rejoin the thinking population.
