    Hi Karen~ I was so excited I knew this, I responded just like I did when I found out... I neglected to look up and see you had the same answer.  Yippeee !  Isn't it cool how all the creatures and critters work their worlds accordingly?  I find it fascinating.  They seemed to have learned how to do it without wrecking the environment around them.  We could learn a thing or two.  Great answer Karen :)

    Really, this surprised me to the moon and back!

    As pesty and obnoxious as they are... they are complete masters at survival.  In my book, it is amazing.  Try googling ant rafts and why they build them.  It's all about the hive theory.  Not my style of life but it has proven to be a great survival tactic for them.  Great question!!
