((hugs))  Here's why I asked the question  Zack. I caught a story on TV about an African American man who made it a point to talk to KKK members. He went out of his way to do so. It became his mission. Of course some refused, some insulted him, BUT some were willing to give the guy their time. He focused on the leader of a local KKK group and over a period of time (I don't know how long) they became friends. The KKK leader QUIT the KKK and gave the guy his hood. Now I ask you isn't that a nifty story? That was the question posed to the KKK leader  by the guy and I guess  he got to thinking about it. It's hard to hate people you know in general terms. It's much easier to "hate" a group or an ideology or a religion or whatever when they are all nameless and faceless. So how would you answer that question Zack if it were posed to you?  Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday my friend! :)

That's a very nifty answer ATL. So you don't hate people? That's very good to know. I don't either. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

I hate only three people and I have a very fair reason of doing so and none of them are you.

I don't hate people. I can hate a situation, an occurrence or a behaviour but that's about it.

I know you know that I don't hate anything/anyone. Hate scares me. I do intensely dislike though. I think of those who hate as loose cannons that can go off in any direction at any time for any reason or no reason at all. Emotion-driven. But you don't scare me at all  SH. I think the "hate" of which you speak is comparable to my "intensely dislike". Your brain is always engaged which mitigates emotion..especially negative emotion. In my opinion of course. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

By your words/deeds Sharonna.  If you are Anti-Semitic and say so and I am a Jew then you hate me too. If you hate anyone in the LGBT community and say so and I am a member of that community then you hate me. If I am an African American and you belong to the KKK the implication is that you hate blacks. If you rely on Breitbart News for your information and think Steve Bannon is great BECAUSE he is an  ALT RIGHT WHITE nationalist, then I am among those you hate. It is simply observing what you say, what you do, what you support, what you adore, what you abhor. Now if you are always silent on every issue I would not ask the question of you since there would be no evidence. Did I answer your question? Thank you for your reponse and Happy Wednesday.

You are one of only a few people I know who fit into that category.  You rant and spew hatred every single day on this site.  It must just be an awful existence.   You are in my prayers.

A basic metaphysical principal is "First you are and then you act."

So, by knowing what you do, I can reasonably infer a number of things about you.

Folklore wise, it's "Actions speak louder than words."

If you are a racist then you don't need to know what people do tom. You hate them because they are people of color. If you are Anti-Semitic you will hate Jews. It won't matter to you what they do.  If you hate anyone in the LGBT community it won't matter if they are great humanitarians you will hate them. It isn't what people do that makes for hate...it's whom they are. Isn't it? You belong to the KKK. You hate blacks. You would hate President Obama and many do because of that happenstance...his color. Thank you for your reply. Now if you mean "by knowing what they do" you are not talking about profession or social interaction..you are talking about belonging to the KKK and Anti-Semitic and Racist groups then of course I agree with you. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to you! :)

((hugs)) I know my friend. But seriously how would you answer that question? Here's the backstory. I saw a news segment about an African American who made it a point to talk to KKK members. Of course some refused, some insulted, some gave him time.  He focused on the leader of the local group. He repeatedly engaged the man in conversation and over a period of time they became friends. So much so that the guy quit the KKK and gave his hood to the African American. He had posed that question to the man and I guess the man was open to exploring it. Thank you for your reply CMI and Happy Wednesday to you and yours!  :)
