No. I'm pretty sure that some people don't want to think about some of the things I ask, though. And that's O-K!

Ones that require honest self reflection. I think I posted some of those the other night. And I didn't mean everyone, and they might have just been uninteresting. : )

  • Oh that can happen too.  But I personally was referring to questions like this.

It can be hard to see the difference between 'Right' and 'Nation*. In all fairness they almost look alike, no? People did catch the first half of the word though! They got the 'Alt' all right. Shows very much the capacity around this place. Can't say I'm not guilty as charged at times. I did not read the 'camel' in your 'mistletoe' play inside the adultMug. Had me laughing when I did. Luckily, it did not mean anything in how I would have replied that question. Haha. Good one. Keep them up and keep us awake. :-)

  • Nope.  I tend to get more hits in the questions people don't understand.

  • No..... But I've been trying my best to understand the " characters" on here since joining. I'm not very good at grammar or spelling correctly in English cos my first language is French..... if you suss me on it I may lose my shizit ... ;p

I asked about that "suss" business once, and if I remember correctly, it means to suspect. I guess it's something the youngsters are saying.

But that doesn't make sense to me in the contexts she sometimes uses it.  Example, suss the suss.  Oh well, maybe I'm overthinking.  Or underthinking. :)

  • It means to figure something out.  Short for suspect, as in going through all the usual suspects.

  • "suss" = English slang for "work out" or solve riddle or problem. Comes indirectly from "to suspect that something is so." This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at December 18, 2016 7:45 AM MST

I don't ask questions.  No rejection.

Sometimes I pass questions that would require a lot of thought.  Sometimes that's what I'm in the mood for.  I like your questions so don't stop even if some of them don't get a lot of activity.  You never know what a group will be in the mood for.  I think lots of us finally admitted being sick of the nasty political ones.    You know you can repost questions that get no activity weeks or months down the road.  I know some did this back on the old bag with luck, if they didn't get reported as dups.  That drove me crazy and it's one really really positive thing about the mug. So what if there are dups asked five years apart. ..........................

You think you strayed?  I don't, I think it was spot on.
