Colorado Parks&Wildlife will kill bears/mountain lions to boost the Mule Deer population. Do you approve/dis/why?

That action is part of its predator management strategy. It seems that Mule Deers are more valuable than bears or lions in their opinion. I am very uncomfortable with such a strategy. Are you?

No problem with it. It is called wildlife management. This is why we have hunting seasons.

I very much doubt it is ALL the bears or ALL the mountain lions.
A relatively small ecosystem needs continuous adjustments to stay balanced, and the way to make that adjustment is to kill some of the kinds of animals there are too many of.

PS: Here in Denmark there is only one or 2 nature reserves big enough to support a family of mountain lions
