Are you going to watch the Super Bowl half Time Show 2017?

Oh... sports question, right? Okay... who will be the contenders? Cheering for Packers because of a hottie. You know who you are. :-P

    Nope, I never watch those shows. To me, that's not football, has nothing to do with football, and doesn't enhance the football experience. The NFL as a business (which it is, of course) wants to garner as much profit as possible, I get it. Fine. Flashy shows with pop stars and movie stars in order to attract people who might not otherwise find interest in the sports side of the equation do absolutely nothing for me.
    Besides, as I get older, I continually fall farther and farther out of the demographic they're trying to reach, and many of the "stars" are completely unknown to me, as are their songs. It's not something I pay attention to when I'm not watching football, nor when I am watching football. Case in point, it's been about 10 years since I last watched any musical guest on Saturday Night Live; I don't know who they are, I don't know their music, and I don't want to know who they are or their music.

    Football is football. It entertains me on its own merit, I don't need concerts mixed in to enjoy it.

    I'm with you, watching grass grow is more entertaining than todays entertainers, even the players are getting stranger and are over paid, my dog has more talent.

    I had never watched a half time show.  Last year I tried but muted it and cleaned the kitchen.  When an entertainer has to make a political statement, they lose me.  Plain and simple.  Same for athletes.  I've watched only two NFL games this year.

    No...I rarely watch the superbowl as I have to get up early the next day. I also think the half-time shows are stupid. They are right up the with the inaugurinal party.
