The way we have it set up here, you can chat with anyone, both in a chat room and via one-one-one messages unless you choose to "ignore" them. Do you like it this way or should your one-on-one chats be limited to people who are on your friend list?

It would be a good option, but I have to go with one or the other right now.
At this point, I can't give everyone individual switches, though I'm going to file it away in my memory bank for later.

That's my worry with the "everyone can message" option, but it seems most are ok with that since they can ignore/block people in chat.
I don't use the chat feature. I love that you can disable it altogether.
I don't have chat turned on very often since I usually use my phone, but I'd rather be able to get PM chats from anyone. I like that I can get inbox messages just from friends though.

I like it as it is too, I might not be where I'm with a certain someone if it wasn't for the one on one private chat, we weren't friends yet. :-)
Oh I like the set up as it is now. I have meet a lot of interesting & unique individuals that were at first not on my friends to start with. I like that I have the option to ignore but so far have not had to use it.
