The way we have it set up here, you can chat with anyone, both in a chat room and via one-one-one messages unless you choose to "ignore" them. Do you like it this way or should your one-on-one chats be limited to people who are on your friend list?

I think the two previous ladies have said it all .. It's one of the pleasant surprises of life that you often can make a connection to those you didn't think you would
And often more the pleasant because of that :)
Not for me, I want anyone to be able to contact me.
I consider everyone my friends, even if I don't like them.

Should be an option. Basically everything should be an option and preference. Users are #1, except for Apple and then they decide what you get.
Yes!!!!I would love that. Since some people are for it though do you think you can make a switch from PM chat anyone/only friends?
I like that anyone can be reached by message or in the chat. The ignore button is with in us (I feel like a zen master) :D
Just Asking, it's fine the way it is but if you decide to reduce who can contact us, that's fine as well. :)
