What's your favorite dancing or singing movie scene?

Since we're on the movie thing, I figured I share my favorite dance sequence scene. Do you have one?

Thanks Lago - hadn't seen that in years - it's as great as ever. Several OSCARS came from that scene.

  • After you explained it's significance and back history, I wouldn't worry about your credentials, Ms L. Very good pick.

  • Yes!
I thought about the Chicago clip too. I liked the monochromatic feel of the scene until the "blood" comes out in red. Isn't that beautiful? And the dance, the dancers, great pick!

  • It's all kinds of sexy. The delivery and using red cloth to represent blood on their hands is brilliant.  This coming from someone who normally loathes musicals.

  • Absolutely!
I like this one too. And certainly agree with its theme. Dazzle them with your razzle, and they will never know you're just a bagel. Tell enough people how great you are, and if you distract them enough, they'll believe it.

This one is right up there for me, with both singing and dancing --
