An Answermugger just knocked my socks off! He says the Republicans think there is nothing better than the AHCA! Do you agree with him?

That would definitely explain why there have no replacement plan on deck ready to go. The can't come up with anything better. Geez. Who wouldda thunk it?

Do not confuse nothing better with having nothing is better.

I totally misunderstood you O.  Sorry.  You meant they believe having no insurance is better than having AHCA. I wonder if the 20 million who have it would agree. Thank you for clarifying it for me. :)

It taught me something. I didn't realize the phrase "Nothing is better" had a dual meaning. This post was edited by O-uknow at January 6, 2017 6:40 AM MST

Well m'dear we both learned something.  Nothing is better than being loved by the one you love. True, right? What's better than that? Anyway I think we both have a better understanding of how easily word meanings can be misunderstood! :)

There are no Republicans who believe Obamacare is good.

The Republicans have had years to develop and finalize their own plan. Why can't we see it and have it compared to what the AHCA provided versus what the GOP provides? What have they been doing all this time but badmouthing it? Why weren't they working on a better plan to supplant it? Inquiring minds would like to know. Thank you for your reply  m2c and Happy Friday to thee. So no  Republicans who are among the 20 million on AHCA will care when it goes away and there is nothing there to replace it? Is that your point? Or is your point that no Republican is among the 20 million?

Again it is repeal and replace.
The Republican have had a plan. It is called the Universal Healthcare Tax Credit. It is a free market plan that puts the consumer in charge.
