    Lol, good point!
    These were two multi-million dollar Hollywood movies that the producers expected would be top box office winners yet turned out to be the hugest flops of their time, causing exorbitant monetary losses.

    I didn't see either one, but I remember them being unmercifully panned by the critics. So I looked up Ishtar on IMDB and found many comments praising the movie. Two big stars (Hoffmann and Beatty) having fun and not taking themselves too seriously. Now I want to see it. 

    Reminded me of the very clever Hope/Crosby "road pictures" of the bygone days of mostly b/w movies. (Now the youngsters will have somethng else to google. Huh? Hope/Crosby? Who's that?)
