After he is dead the families of his victims can put an end to their ordeal once and for all. We hope. Manson kept alive by the power of Satan. May it not be long lasting and in accordance to the will of Jehovah God.

He was properly convicted of the crimes he was accused of, and I am unaware of any substantial exculpatory evidence. Nor, given the magnitude of his crimes, do I believe he has suffered an excessive sentence.
If you wish to argue the 82-year-old Manson is too feeble to likely commit further crimes and, therefore, should be transferred to some form of low-cost minimal security incarceration, that's a discussion I would entertain.
But legal pardons should be reserved for those who have been wronged by our legal system in some way, not used on guilty criminals who have grown old serving out their sentences.
