Discussion»Questions»Recreation» Have you ever shot a gun? If you have, what's the biggest gun youve ever fired? If you haven't, would you, given the chance?
Lots of times. The biggest? Handguns would be .454Casull and .460S&W. Rifles, .50BMG chambered rifle and .458WinMag. Biggest chambering I own? .444 Marlin
lol... No, they all belong to range buddy. I'm more a Fud and old military rifle guy than modern black rifle kinda guy. I'll never pass up the chance to shoot a new round or gun though.
You always get some swag, even if it is just a humorously bent pipe cleaner ;-)

My two favorite weapons have been the Taurus Judge with a 45 long colt and the AR-15. First time shooting the AR-15, I shot a quarter size target from about 45 yards away.
No, I can't consistantly hit a target that small. My precision is pretty good though. The last time I was at an outdoor shooting range, I hit a bullseye three out five times with the last two shots just outside the bullseye at 100 yards with an AR-15. I love that rifle.
How did it feel, were you nervous? I remember the first time I ever held a gun, I was surprised about how heavy it felt in my hands, I almost dropped it. How was it for you?
I was also shooting off my little business protection .25. It was so cute compared to the .357. Like 'ping-ping-ping' compared to the 'BAM' of the bigger gun. I only shot it once due to the cheap-skate police buddy who didn't want me to waste any more ammo. I also missed the target.
Are you still using that 25 as protection? Non of my business but I'd go with something with a little more stopping power. Just a thought. Anyway, yeah, what was he thinking, as a policeman not letting you play around with his gun, eh? ; )
Now, that's a gun there Mr Rooster!!! I remember how long it took to disassemble, and clean, a rifle. I can't imagine what it would take to clean the soot out of that! I thought my gun would be the biggest but you got me beat. Btw, it's always a treat for me to talk to a Vietnam Vet. Thank you for responding.
