It is over, he will be the President.  "Fighting him" is nothing more than keeping yourself angry about the fact he was elected.  If he really does what he has promised, it will be good for everyone.

Believe what you will. Trump is an evil treasonous traitor and has already sold us out to his lover Putin. He will continue to put Putin first and Americans last. I see nothing good about a devil. You do. We disagree. So what? Thank you for your reply. This post was edited by RosieG at January 8, 2017 10:34 AM MST

When I first heard of O'Bama, he seemed like a new JFK. Refreshing, young, full of new ideas AND a good public speaker. THEN I heard about his Chicago political ties and the financial mess that  Illinois has been in. Then his true liberalism presented itself to me. I did not vote for him!

He may be another Reagan. Lots of people laughed at an actor becoming president, but he was able to surround himself with functional, quality people in his cabinet. The country prospered. I see no reason that tRump cannot do the same with all his business connections.

How did you hear of some guy named O'bama? Is he an Irishman? Our president for the last eight years was OBAMA.

    Hello Rosie:

Why should I give him a chance??  I don't LIKE like what he SAID he was gonna do, and if I can STOP him, I WILL.. That's the American way.

Me too excon. I'm gonna fight the bast**rd any way I can until I can no longer fight. There are petitions and marches and groups forming around the country and also around the world to fight him. My state of California is in the lead with regard to the anti-Trump folks. Good for us! The evil he represents is very upsetting. More upsetting is the fact that so many people are so dam*ed blase about it. Are they all traitors? Are they all capable of treason against their country? Are they all Putin puppets who prefer Putin bullsh**  because Trump prefers his bullsh **? Are they all brain dead/Zombies/robots? They don't give a rat's a** about  the Trump sellout of America to Putin. Not one bit. How stupid are they anyway? Thank you for your reply! :)

    No reason.

I listened as they called my President a Muslim.
I listened as they called him and his family a pack of monkeys.
I listened as they said he wasn't born here.
I watched as they blocked every single path to progress that they could.
I saw the pictures of him as Hitler.
I watched them shut down the government and hurt the entire nation twice.
I watched them turn their backs on every opportunity to open worthwhile dialog.
I watched them say that they would not even listen to any choice for Supreme Court no matter who the nominee was.
I listened as they openly said that they will oppose him at every turn.
I watched as they did just that.
    I listened.
    I watched.
    I paid attention.
Now, I'm being called on to be tolerant.
    To move forward.
    To denounce protesters.
    To "Get over it."
    To accept this...
    I will not.
I will do my part to make sure this great American mistake becomes the embarrassing footnote of our history that it deserves to be.
I will do this as quickly as possible every chance I get.
I will do my part to limit the damage that this man can do to my country.
I will watch his every move and point out every single mistake and misdeed in a loud and proud voice.
I will let you know in a loud voice every time this man backs away from a promise he made to them.
Them. The people who voted for him.
The ones who sold their souls and prayed for him to win.
I will do this so that they never forget.
    And they will hear me.
They will see it in my eyes when I look at them.
They will hear it in my voice when I talk to them.
They will know that I know who they are.
They will know that I know what they are.
Do not call for my tolerance. I've tolerated all I can. Now it's their turn to tolerate ridicule. Be aware, make no mistake about it, every single thing that goes wrong in our country from this day forward is now Trump's fault just as much as they thought it was Obama's. I find it unreasonable for them to expect from me what they were entirely unwilling to give.

    Hi Rosie:

And if you remember, anti-Bush folks never gave Dubya a chance and anti-Clinton folks never gave Bill a chance. And so it goes.

@SBABR -- You're right. It was SO unfair that the Democrats denied the Boy Emperor his tax cuts, his Medicare expansion, his invasion/occupation of Iraq, his Supreme Court nominees, his right-wing ideologue US attorneys looking for non-existent cases of voter fraud, the Patriot Act, etc.

    Oh, wait!....

You have much of the world's knowledge at your fingertips, and yet you can't remember ANY history past last week. I'd give you more grief about that, but it seems to be a common American affliction. Maybe it's something in the water...
