He will so busy doing that he won't have time to push nuclear buttons and destroy the world. Attack his ego and you get his attention. Do it consistently/constantly/relentlessly/endlessly! Better to give him busy work like that than to let him loose doing the wrong thing at the wrong time for the wrong reason.
