"She meant well". Meaning what she said/did was INTENDED to be helpful. How important to an outcome are a person's intentions? Why?

Yes we know.  "The road to He** is paved with good intentions". Is that true? Is it better that one's intentions are bad?

  • When the intentions were good but the outcome is not what was intended, the person can learn from the mistakes and do better next time.
    If the intentions are not good, any accidental good will soon undone when the person learns to achieve what they intend.
