What happens when artificial intelligence outstrips humans?

It's already happening in some areas. Will there come a time when computers start thinking for themselves?

  • That's a scary thought. I sure hope we have Detective Del Spooner on the case.

  • We might have to clone him. It'd be a big job for one cop.

Then the humans will start thinking f this and they would make the machines sorry that they ever involved. No matter how smart a machine gets humans will always out smart them and defeat them with their street smarts. Like suppose the machines rebelled and starting telling humans that resistance was futile the humans would say stuff like - ya thats what your ma says  then when the machine is trying to figure it out they would sucker punch it with a pipe wrench, Cheers!

I will be wondering which biases have been 'built in'.

But I doubt I will have to worry about that for the rest of my lifetime. IE havent even started yet, just look at how ineffective automated call routing in businesses is even today. Simple menu choices that lead you anywhere but where you want to go.
