How long could you stand being with anyone who compllimented him/herself 24/7 and never shut up or stifled it? Why?

Could stand having a partner like that? How?

This is a really funny humorous coinkydink. Both you and Harry are quoting Melania I see. I told Harry I think Melania could have done so much better for herself and I'm saying the same thing to you SA. Maybe she will dump Trump, take her son and move away to a better situation. Imagine having that as a father? Poor kid. Well Katie Holmes took her daughter and fled Tom Cruise and Scientology. Why can't Melania take her son and flee  Trump and all his crap and save themselves? Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)

I saw Harry's reply and decided to follow suit. ;)
I really feel for that child and hope that his dad doesn't have much contact with him.
    Happy Thursday to you, too!

Oh. That is VERY COOL SA. Thanks for telling me that. I think Harry will be very complimented! SIGH. Poor Barron. Poor kid. He always looks so uncomfortable being on stage with daddy dearest. I know Melania has made it very clear that she wants to be his mom first and foremost and being First Lady will have to come second. Good for her! :)

I don't think she made that decision on her own. ;)

She could have but she didn't.  Letting that thing touch her in all her special places makes me cringe.  She came from a modest background, she didn't have much in the brains dept but what she did have was the ambition to have someone make her his trophy wife, taking care of her and offering her a glamorous life.  At this point, she won't dump him.  Nothing better will come along that will want to incite the wrath of Teflon Don.   He won't get rid of her any time soon because she is still eye candy and, he is distracted with more important things at the moment.

*edit*  Not sure how I hit the wrong button but I did.  This was a response to Rosie's response to me.  Sorry.

Happy Thursday to you both. This post was edited by Harry at January 12, 2017 9:36 AM MST

  • I have to go back quite a way to find this Rosie.  It's from over 20 years ago and asks a similar question.  Hope you can view it.

Some background:  Mrs Merton (host) is a fictitious, comedic 'presenter/chat show host'.  Kriss Akabusi was a well known 400m runner/hurdler.  Debbie McGee was the 'assistant/wife' of UK magician Paul Daniels.

The actual line is at the end of the piece, at about 54 seconds.

I couldn't stand to be around someone who talked 24/7 whether it was bragging or anything else.  When it comes to people yakking at me, less is more.
