Be honest. Has this election changed your perspective of some of your acquaintances that voted differently than you?

I admit that I have trouble understanding how anyone I know personally actually touts the wonders of Mr. Trump, even with clear evidence that he is not a nice human being.  I never felt this way after any other election.  I always respected political differences in my friends, family, and acquaintances.  But this time around, it's different.  I don't feel it's a difference of ideology.  I have trouble understanding how anyone can support such a negative human being.

Care to share?

Of course I won't end friendships over this.  I just ignore what they post on social media.  But it does make me scratch my head and ask some questions.

As long as he appointments pro-life judges and supports pro-life laws...I don't care how much of he is converted. He has given a list of SCOTUS possible choices and they are all acceptable.  That is what matters.

Be real... more like he's been given a list of possible nominees. As much as his daughter (the one he actually deems "sexy" enough to warrant his attention) is in his ear, it should be interesting to see if he actually does nominate someone who is in favor of abortion restrictions. I highly doubt he'll nominate someone who is truly PRO-LIFE, in the literal sense (and by that, I mean someone like me, who believes that ALL LIVES have value and should be treated respectfully). Sadly, those who are merely anti-abortion are very rarely truly pro-life.

Savvy, you explained what I also believe so well.  Thank-you.  Well said.

I don't care if someone gave him a list or not. As long as the list is full of pro-life judges it is all good to me.
Yes all Lifes have value, all lives matter both those born and unborn.

Very interesting indeed!  Apparently there was a time when Trump rubbed elbows with the Clintons too.

I am not surprised the Pope endorsed Bernie Sanders.  I think Bernie had a sort of humility that the Pope recognized, and so did a few others.  I wish he had been the other choice to Trump.  I am certain he would have gone out of his way to be a good leader.  It was never about ego with Bernie as I saw it.

Thanks for sharing here.  I appreciate that.

Yes, especially he and Bill. And their mutual friend, convicted sex offender and pimp/owner of child prostitutes, Jeffrey Epstein.

I do think it's a matter of time before he gets what's coming to him, I honestly do. His over-inflated ego and anti-social personality characteristics are going to be his undoing.

I think he is a walking disaster.  I remember him from decades ago with all his dealings with the casinos, his marriages, and affairs.  I disliked him from way back then when I didn't think he would ever make a decision that would affect me.  Now I see what he wants to do with everything from healthcare to world relations and I am terrified.

I truly want to be wrong about this man, but I am afraid I can ignore what I already know about him.

No, I was cured of any illusions in 1998 when Jesse Ventura was elected governor of our state.

Right?? Ugh! If any of it is actually attached to his head, wouldn't it be more amusing to wax it?

I just want to see it get a good scrubbing.  His hair doesn't even look clean.

Maybe it's just the man underneath that mess.  He's just so unattractive on so many levels.

In my family, politics only comes up during Thanksgiving and Xmas Day. We all manage to stay calm, cool and collected throughout.

We never fought over politics in our home either.  We had plenty of other things to squabble about.  LOL
