Yes... i did.. then i *did* them for constructive dismissal.. in other words I made a case that they had forced me to leave.. I used the money to take my daughter on vacation to Venice.. that was a nice touch I felt.. especially as people who worked there and who knew me happened to mention that i had *come into some money* and had taken a trip to Venice.. A holiday to remember for lots of reasons
Only once. It was a merchant bank and undoubtedly the unfriendliest environment I'd ever worked in. I had a security key to move from one part of the facility to another and one day the boss just got up my nose so much that I took the key out of my pocket and handed it to him, saying, "Since you think you can do myu job better than I can, you'll need this." And I walked out. I was pleased to see, from the employment column in the newspaper, that they had problems getting anybody else to stay, either. They didn't have a clue about relating to people.
