.
i think they should do away with guns altogether
Thank you for your reply m2c and Happy Sunday to thee.

Thank you for your reply J.

That is very non-judgmental. Thank you for your reply Sharonna and the bear graphic
. :)
Well the NRA controls the gun issue in America and owns the politicians so chances are nothing will ever change. Sad ain't it? Thank you for your reply CMI and Happy Sunday. Last time we spoke

you were preparing for a trip. Are you back? Was it fun? :)
I know honey. I know. I'm not a gun person either pearl. Thank you for your answer! :)

Absolutely! Every bear should own an M14, good deterrent against hunters and poachers.
I posted a question about that a few weeks ago, Rosie. Did you see it? Lol:)
Ya know I never thought of that! I didn't. Bears should be armed to protect them against the hunter. Good point! Thank you for your reply wignands and Happy Sunday! :)

No I didn't Andy. I don't have time to do anything here but ask questions and reply to however many alerts I can get to. However many years ago on Answerbag I asked the same question about arming bears. I can't keep up with responding to the replies I get from all the questions I ask on Answermug
. I am always behind. At one point I had 583 alerts. Today I have it UNDER 300! So I did not see your question. :)
My goodness gracious me... No, we are not back yet. We are in Alsace, France in small village called Scharrachbergheim. We have only been here for four days. If you count our time driving through Germany, one week. After three stops in France, we go to Scotland and Ireland. Our return flight from Berlin is on September 23. We have room to spare in our home-exchange houses. Care to Join us in Lyon or Clare County, Ireland.
Nature has already armed bears fairly well...
Would that we could m'dear! Would that we could! How about letting Jim and I be with you and your family vicariously? Share whatever you would like to share with us as you move on? What a loverly offer! Why does the small village in France have a German name? So you will be traveling until September 23? And you still find time to fit us in occasionally? That is also very kind. I took 4 years of French. My son is part French/English/Irish too. 50% of him. The other 50% is of Armenian descent which is obviously from my side of the family. Merci mille fois mon ami! Till you have time to write again I remain your Answemug friend...Rosie G. Happy Monday to you and your family and may the

rest of your trip be joyful and troublefree! :)
Hi there. I'd like to share my experiences here with you but would prefer to send Private Messages. I can't figure out how to do that on Answermug. We went to see Notre Dame de Strasbourg today. It was literally jaw dropping and it's not even the real Notre Dame.
Hi there! I just sent you a "friend request". If you accept then we will be able to message each other CMI! Happy Wednesday! Not even the "real" Notre Dame? Oh. Right. The REAL one is in Paris. Hope the weather has been cooperating for you and the family as you travel. I'm a Foodie so I would be very interested in the great meals you have everywhere. But also the world-famous places you visit IN PERSON that most of us have only just read about or seen in movies. Happy travels! :)

I had an encounter with a bear once upon a time long ago. We were camping at Yosemite. My mom and baby sister slept in the car. My dad, two adult cousins and me were sleeping on cots. I heard a rumble rattle clatter and didn't see it because I was afraid to look but someone yelled "bear". It was looking for food. I was frozen and stayed very still. Once the noise abated and the bear was gone I got in the car to sleep. That's as close as I ever want to get to
one. And an armed bear? I don't think so. Thank you for your reply Baba and Happy Wednesday! :)
Bears have done nothing to destroy the planet, so I vote for that.
Me too Uc. Thank you for your very nifty answer! :)

Yes I support the 2nd amendment as an individual right. No I do not support arming bears....they are already armed just as God made them.
The spirit of that right was to deter tyranny. Now that we have flame throwers, hand grenades, and machine guns, the question is whether or not US citizens should also be armed with these weapons or maybe even nukes. MMmmm... I think not.
