I know it's a funny question, and I'm missing my chance for a funny answer, but I was on the receiving end once.
Almost 60 years ago (I've had time to heal) I was knocked down by a car which then ran over my legs. I was lying on the road waiting for an ambulance, and a crowd gathered from somewhere. They just stood there looking at me. I wasn't writhing or screaming, I was just lying there chatting to a bystander who was the only person to offer any help and who kept me company until help arrived.
I've never really been keen on looky-loos. I don't see the pleasure in wallowing in somebody's misfortune.
Nevertheless, SH, that was a great picture you posted (nearly as good as Rooster's) and very ironic. Let's see if I can find one to go with it.
You didn't miss your opportunity. As for me, you're welcome to add a sense many replies as you feel like. I love your replies. I've never understood that concept at staring like that, like on the highway, everyone is so busy looking at the accidents that they make new ones. Sighs.
Sorry, it happened again, eh? Don't wait up too long, it's just a polite way to get away without telling you... I'll be around to support you if you need a shoulder to cry out at. There there.
I keep telling you: I didn't do anything to her, I have nothing to do with her absence, she merely found a new Q&A site! In fact, she is the one who left me, she's the one who broke it apart, she is the one who walked away!
