I go to the U.S. Often cos live close to border ..... I've never been pulled in for questioning .... So annoyed. 

I used to too, I'm about 15 mins from the border but since our dollar tanked 3 years ago I never go..oh and cuz of a speeding ticket I took 6 months to pay.

Oh I have been!!  OMG!  I have a really funny story of something that happened at the border in "95.  I used to always fill up down there.  My car ran out of gas and we were 3 cars from the booth, so my gf and I got and pushed my car to the booth next that was closed.  I was just going to grab my jerry can and walk to the gas station that was about 1 block away.  ANYWAY  When we parked my car 2 border guards came up to us, yelling at us, hands on their guns ready to pull them out!  Told us to put our hands on the car as they approached, let me explain what happened.  They then let me open my trunk..."slowly" to see there was no bomb in it!!  We then got a huge lecture and they reluctantly let us walk to the station.  We were 22 and looked about 15, hardly threatening in any way!  I can imagine if that had happened post 9/11, I think they would have just shot us and asked questions later!  LOL

I miss the pre 9/11 days when they just waved ya' in and out.

Actually any time I went into Canada it was coming back into the States that was the PITA if there was one.

I miss that too, I would sometimes go down just to get an AM/PM milkshake!

I've never once had issue before .... I think cos of where I was going ...they even fooking asked me if I'm a trump supporter .... No shizatt. I'm a Farking Canadian .... Car of friends behind us were denied entry.... Was insane... I've never done anything illegal but got detained for two hours .... Questioned , fingerprinted. Was word sounds like cereal ... Can't think about what that word is for now

Oh sure.   It's nothing grand,  just a sum of it's stupid parts kinda thing. 

Yeah :) I like stupid stuff though and interested :) not everythinghas to be grand ...I only mostly talk about the grand parts of my life online but most days boring and stupid :)
