You know I don't have kids :) and I'm sure you already know I used get in trouble for pulling my barbies legs , arms and heads off and keeping them in plastic bag under my bed , cos my parents said expensive. So I think they wanted throw them at wall . Anyway , I like buy my friends kids anything noisy and annoying .... Cos fun see their eyes roll :)
My favourite .... Was my sister and I were playing "restaurant" .... And she had kermit frog stuffy . I cut his legs off put on plate said " frog legs for dinner" she cried for hour .... Was funny :) I'm nicer at her now though :)
Stepping on Legos was always painful and traumatizing. They always were in the strangest of places too. Now that "Let it Go" song from the movie Frozen always gives me anxiety and murderous thoughts.
Oh man, dragonfly. We go hand in hand here. My granddaughter is into Legos now. I hate stepping on those things! She also loves Disney movies. Those songs get stuck in my brain. It goes beyond an earworm.
The noise makers aren't used just by kids. I'm appalled by adults who feel it is quite ok to play their phone's TV or music functions in public places like a restaurant.
My boys had lots of noisy toys that drove me nuts but it's pay back time - got my Granddaughter a pair of drumsticks and I might try to get her interested in bagpipe music. Cheers!
I'm pretty sure that the Geneva Convention bans people from giving bagpipes to children that don't reside in the same household. Same for accordions. You might want to check that before making that "gift".
