According to current science it is favorably believed that the amount of matter in the universe is finite and at same time there are physicists who believe in existence of multi universe. so if the idea of multi universe come true one day then the amount of matter will be considered to be Infinite?

No, only infinite if you include an unlimited number of other universes but within any one universe matter is finite. Under qualifiers both are true. This post was edited by O-uknow at January 25, 2017 11:22 PM MST

We exclude other universes making this one limited.

No reason why not. Each universe would be limited to the amount of energy /matter expelled by the big bang that created it.

If space is infinite should be no reason why not matter as well to occupy that space.
