The 25th Amendment to the Constitution provides for the VP to take over if the president becomes incapacitated. How long are we gonna wait?

Hello:

We don't need to wait for impeachment.

Amendment 25, Section 4:

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

IMHO, a Mutiny on the Bounty type scenario, with this crop of running scare GOP'ers, would be almost impossible.

They're too scared of the 'batsh*t crazy ' Trump supporters, his tweets, and the consequence they might face in their next election.

They should hold a man card bonfire for some to burn their cards.

Trump a Nixon on steroids?  Stay tuned. This post was edited by Beans/SilentGeneration at January 25, 2017 10:06 AM MST

Someone's fear of losing government handouts because of a President's actions does not equal the President's "incapacitation".

The voters who picked him are far more incapacitated as well as those in Congress who are in sync with his incapacitation.

The whole world is incapacitated because of the lack of any ability to think past what someone shouts at them all day and night.
