  • I think it would be cool to see the remains of the trenches in Verdun or Argonne.   Any WW1 battle site really.

  • I'm a buff for both world wars but WW1 is way more interesting and much more complex.

  • There'd be a lot of history at Marathon. I think there'd still be an atmosphere there.

    The field of the Battle of Brunanburh - if only we could be sure where it was - the consensus is somewhere in Yorkshire. This was the founding battle of the English, when King Athelstan and his brother Edmund fought and routed a combined force of Irish, Norse, Welsh, Scots and others.
