Do you have a memorable musical moment? What? Why?

I was at a big show on one occasion when the band of the Grenadier Guards marched onto the arena. I forget what they were playing but once they were all on the track the broke into a few bars from The British Grenadiers. It was their way of saying, "This is who we are." It was powerful!

  • I guess it would be the first time I got to see Janis Joplin live at the Fillmore! Probably the best concert I ever saw! That woman could belt out a song. I was mesmerized!

    I was standing near the line of people going to a Howard Jones concert that I, also, was going to. A couple of security guards took me aside and walked me into the theater and kept walking with me. I asked if I had done something wrong.
    They then apologized and said they thought I was Howard Jones' brother who was, at the time, I guess, playing in the Jones' band.
    I have to admit there is a resemblance between Howard and me.
