How do you describe the weather in your part of the world?

A Japanese woman once said, "I don't understand you Australians. When it's thirty degrees you say it's warm. What do you say when it's forty degrees?" And I said, "Then it's bloody warm." What sort of expressions are used in your area?

  • "Temperate" ...
lacking the full count of seasons
average high to low temps is about twenty degrees
most major weather events happen somewhere else (except earthquakes ... that's our specialty).
But it's home and I've learned to live with it.
