Is it possible to have BV or a yeast infection without the itching?

  • Yes, it is possible.....more so with bacterial vaginosis than a yeast infection. Yeast infection will more than likely always cause itching. If you're not sure, best thing to do is see your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

    I second what Angela said. Itching is the hallmark of a yeast infection and it's really rare for one to be present without it. Rare, but possible. On the other hand, there are lots of other infections that are less likely to come with itching. 

    It probably goes without saying, but it's best to get it checked out by a doctor when in doubt.
