Are you looking forward to 50 Shades of Grey 2? Why?

I remember the hype for the first one and so I started watching It, kinda got bored and fast forwarded through it.

It seems like women are really anticipating the new one.

I kinda don't get it.
Why? What do you like about it?

  • The book is allegedly very badly written.. lots of boring insubstantial and repetitive language. This is a bored housewife with unrealistic and in the scheme of things pretty lame fantasies with very little substance writing for other bored housewives who have no REAL experience of how it really goes.. and yes I know she is a Brit :P  

    The story is disrespected by the BDSM community.. so really that says it all.. that's NOT how it really is.. 

    I never read the book never watched the films and perhaps cos I know real BDSM people

  • I just don't know much about erotica and what 50 Shades fans want.

    There's so much erotica and adult content online I just don't see what the 50 Shades franchise offers?
    I get that kinky stuff is popular these days, but the movie looked tame.
    My ex wanted me to do some of that stuff so I did, but I'm just not a violent type of guy.
    I'm gental, I love women.
    I can b_te and spa_k her when she liked, but that's as mean as I can get.

  • It's not about being mean or violent.  That's what the book author fails to understand when she created her characters.
    It's just not for everyone.

  • Nope. Didn't read the books or watch the first movie. I love to read...and I enjoy paranormal romance the best. I'd take J.R. Ward's books over that poorly written stuff any day!

  • J.R.Ward authors a series of books called the Black Dagger Brotherhood....action, fighting, erotica, it is not your grandmother's romance! Vampires, werewolves, good fighting the bad....this Author got me hooked! She does pen another series called The Bourbon Kings which is a "normal" series, but equally as good.

    It's a bad interpretation of what D/s is about so no, I'm not going to spend any time watching it. I'll much more prefer to have another watch of The Secretary with Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Spader.
