Are you a Piggie/Pork/Bacon Lover? Are you also overweight? Gonna change your ways or die happy?

  • Nope! I rarely if ever eat any pork. Just don't care much for it and I like turkey bacon better. Overweight? No, not at all. I keep myself as fit as I can. Not going to change my ways about pork but hoping to still die happy in my sleep! Dreaming of Playboy bunnies!

A doctor once asked my Dad (this was after he retired) what medications he was on.  He said, "Well...I usually have a couple of beers in the evening."  :)

Those are personal choices and no ones business.  Freedom and liberty are good things.

I don't eat pork that often but I do love my bacon and so I guess I will die happy.
There are other things I do that are worse then eating bacon, and I won't give those things up either.

I eat turkey bacon.  It's pretty darn good and I have it with nearly every breakfast.  That is one meal I never skip.

I am not overweight at all.  Never have been.

    Happy Friday Rosie!

Ya I love bacon - couple of weeks ago I heard that they started putting bacon on Big Mac's and I can't wait to get into town and try a couple or three of them. I'll get my fries and pop supper sized too but I won't get over weight because I have a 4 mile walk to get to town and a 4 mile walk to get back home, Not planning on changing my ways and I think I will die happy. Cheers and happy weekend!

My great grandfather was a hog producer in the early part of the 1900's. He was also a breeder who won 'best of show' ribbons at state fairs. He had so many fair ribbons that they made a quilt out of them. The quilt is displayed at the Wood County Museum near Bowling Green, Ohio. I have enjoyed 'bacon-lettuce-tomato' sandwiches all my life. So has my 86 year old mother. Neither my mother nor I are overweight. Most of my meat diet is fish.

Thank you for your reply bh. Bacon producers have come out with bacon that omits nitrites and nitrates which is good. :) Ever add avocado to the standard BLT? Mighty tasty that way too if you like avocado! :) This post was edited by RosieG at February 4, 2017 5:30 AM MST

How can anyone not like a B.L.T.  or  roast pork, bacon and eggs , pork ribs?  when I was younger I was a weight lifter,  then took up running and ran 40 miles a week for years. then one day I relaxed instead of running, it felt real good, then I did it a few more times and found out hey this is great and it was all over. now I'm older and enjoy relaxing instead.  over indulging and happy. Life is short ,enjoy it nobody really cares what you do.
I'm going to make two  bacon ,lettuce and tomato sandwiches, plenty of mayonnaise on crusty white bread and a tall glass of milk, that's
living.           If God wanted turkey bacon , turkeys would have snouts. This post was edited by TomThumb at February 4, 2017 5:31 AM MST
