I don't think that's what "kind" means in those words.. But anyway, I try to be nice because I just don't like confrontation..and I feel bad if I'm mean to someone. Even if I don't like that person.
Yes Rosie I am kind :) and in fact I am often told I am too kind... and perhaps that's why some people try to take advantage.. but thing is.. what they don't know is, yes I am kind, very kind, I'd do anything to help people...but if they cross me then I WILL stand up for myself and I WILL call them out on it..
Being kind doesn't have to mean being a doormat :)
On the wider issue... I am still an optimist.. I still believe people are essentially good...and that very,very few, (apart from Trump lol) are all bad.. but yes I do detect a worsening of the human spirit.. a more selfish and shallow way of being..
