    Sighh that's why when I asked my friends,why is the rent so exorbitant in Bay Area they informed me that we are paying for weather, if you wanna rent a single bedroom apartment in Santa Clara it would be $2,500! This post was edited by Veena.K at February 7, 2017 6:17 AM MST

    My daughter pays more for her modest two bedroom apartment in San Francisco than we do for our mortgage on a four bedroom house in Florida. And she has rent control or it would be twice what she is paying.
