Do you have any words that, either now or previously, you have confused with another?

Anne McCaffrey wrote a book of short stories she named "Get of the Dragon" but it was published as "Get Off the Dragon". Why? Because the copy setter have never heard "get" used in the sense that it means offspring or progeny. He "corrected" her spelling and she let it stand.

  • Yes I do .... I find the most simple words confusing... Know and now or some other stuff. English is the hardest language. I hate it most when I mess up your and you're.... And then there is all this ... But I do my best ..cos .....
