Donald Trump, who spent months railing against the influence of the financial industry in Washington, has tapped a Wall Street insider to oversee Wall Street.

If you bought into the whole “drain the swamp” nonsense, I have some very bad news for you.

The Washington Post added that Jay Clayton, Wall Street lawyer, has no background in public service, “has represented some of the biggest names on Wall Street, including Goldman Sachs and Barclays, and helped them weather regulatory scrutiny.” This post was edited by Beans/SilentGeneration at February 7, 2017 9:11 PM MST

My eyes are open but I feel the vast majority of the public's eyes remain closed. Half of the country opposes Trump for emotional reasons not ever talking about real valid reasons to oppose him. Reasons that effect everyone and might would bring more over to their side. I can't side with them because they are too irrational and general HATE is not my thing. I can't fully support Trump either for reasons like this. I support him in the spirit of fixing America. This post was edited by O-uknow at February 8, 2017 6:19 AM MST
